Hi, my name is Ernesto Sánchez Ricardo, born and raced in the wonderful city of Cartagena de Indias. I have a graduate degree in Management. Because of my looks, people who don’t know me think I’m a tourist, but by the moment they hear my local accent they immediately find out the truth.
I’m a big football fan and support Boca, Real Madrid and off course Real Cartagena our local team. I like listening to The Doors, Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix and others. I enjoy riding my bike around Cartagena and walking in the afternoons around the Historic Center and catch a sunset from the walls, that’s one of the best ways to relax. But, my favorite thing to do is traveling, traveling to know and become a citizen of the world. I’ve had the chance to meet and visit people and places in Colombia and in other countries and I’ve come to the conclusion that our Historic Center is one of the most amazing places in the world and that it has many things to offer and there are many things to be done to bring out its true potential. I want to put another brick in the walls through Zona C to share with those who visit us the magic involved in our Historical Center.
